"Nice evening atmosphere vibe with clean cool environment if you choose the aircon area..location nearby main road...and the food portion is also generous as per priced..shared with friend as not a heavy eater.. we ordered hantu kambing fried rice..we can taste the belacan fried rice with chunks of extra meat in the rice..the fried rice is not salty nor burnt .. with the tender grill kambing steak.. season with black pepper sauce.. should mark it as chef recommendations or people's favourite."

"Just had an amazing meal at Pinggan Cafe in Johor Bahru and I can't recommend it enough! This place is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic, comforting Malay cuisine with a cozy vibe. The food was absolutely sedap (delicious) – everything we ordered hit the spot perfectly. From the flavorful mains to the fresh sides, the portions were generous and the taste was spot on, just like home-cooked kampung style but elevated. The presentation in those beautiful traditional pinggan (plates) made it even more special and Instagrammable. The cafe itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming with plenty of room to relax. Great for families, groups of friends, or even a casual solo lunch. Service was friendly and efficient too – our orders came out quickly and the staff were attentive. If you're in JB, do yourself a favor and stop by The Pinggan Cafe. Whether you're a local or visiting, it's worth it. I'll definitely be back soon!"

"Extremely disappointed with the service and food. The wait time was ridiculously long even though there were only 2 tables occupied. I was starving, so waiting this long for bad food honestly ruined my mood. • Lamb BBQ: Flavor was lacking, but still acceptable. I finished it. • Cheezy Chicken Chop: Came out last and was terrible. The cheese sauce was completely bland and tasted weird,but again, we only forced ourselves to eat as much as we could because we were starving. For the pricey menu, the quality and speed were definitely not worth it. Hope they improve their service and recipe."

"Ordered family choice. Get spaghetti + chicken grill and nasi goreng kambing. 2 ice lemon tea. All taste is good. Suggest to improve on food display only. Have also The Pinggan Playroom for kids. Separate surau for male and female."
